GoRefer.io respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the firms and people who use our platform to do the same. Firms can upload images and other content to their landing pages, testimonials and branding. If you believe content hosted on GoRefer infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent as described below. We respond to notices that meet the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

What to include in a notice

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
3. Identification of the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it, such as the page URL.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notices

If content you uploaded was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address. We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
