It depends on your network size and engagement. A single Enterprise referral ($299/mo) earns you ~$60/month recurring. Refer 10 Enterprise clients and you're earning $600/month passively. There are no caps.
Service bureaus, EROs, and multi-location tax preparation networks are ideal. They have the highest need for referral tracking, commission management, and the Rewards Library. Solo practitioners on the Growth plan also convert well.
No, you don't need to be a GoRefer.io customer to become an affiliate. However, affiliates who use the product tend to convert referrals at higher rates because they can speak from experience. If you're not a customer yet, we offer a 14-day free trial so you can try it yourself.
Your commission upgrades too! Every month we pay you 20% of whatever your referred customer is paying that month. If they upgrade from Growth ($79/mo) to Enterprise ($299/mo), your monthly commission increases from $15.80 to $59.80.
All standard plans—Growth, Scale, and Enterprise—are eligible for the full 20% recurring commission. Custom or volume-discounted plans may have adjusted commission rates, which we'll discuss during onboarding.

Commissions are calculated monthly and paid on the 15th of the following month. Payments are made via direct deposit or PayPal—your choice. As you grow, you can unlock bi-weekly (Certified tier) or weekly (Premium tier) payouts.
Yes, the minimum payout is $50. If your balance is below $50, it rolls over to the next month until you hit the threshold.
